Event details:

NYC has just emerged from an idea-generating frenzy. Designers, innovators and DIY-ers have exploded in TEDx talks, Maker Faires, Guggenheim Labs and Urban Design Weeks. Now that we have so many incredible ideas to transform NYC, how can we actually make them happen?

Join us for a series of topical panel conversations with experts at turning ideas into action. These leaders from across the city have taken matters into their own hands, creating and implementing their own solutions. They didn’t wait for systemic or policy change to bring about results; they just got started, block by block.

Come learn from their years of experience, their recent milestones and the lessons they’ve learned working on the ground (and on rooftops and in waterways) across NYC. Bring your own ideas and your questions. The session will be highly interactive! And, you’ll leave with a step-by-step guide to make stronger and more sustainable NYC neighborhoods.
